John 15:13

Summer Camp Trip 2012

Kids and youth first summer attending AOG 3 day camp at Indian Springs Campground! Thanks to the various sponsors that made this possible. The kids were challenged to a more intense relationship with Christ and new positive relationships were formed!

Salvation Station Kidz Church 2012

Monday night kids church service for ages 5-12 and
THUG Youth services for teens ages 13-17

Kids participate in praise and worship, play games, win prizes, and have Bible Study. Usually approximately 200 children/youth attend weekly.

Backpack Meal Program

Every week kids are provided with meal kits for the weekend. The Ms Food Network has already donated 1400 meal kits to UPWARD this year alone. Over 200 meal kits have been provided by private individuals and churches from all over Mississippi. Thank you for helping us to feed the children!

Dream Center School of the Arts

Youth are able to participate in music lessons, dance lessons, art sessions and more. Services are provided through volunteers from Ballet Magnificat, Belhaven College, the comity and various churches throughout the Mississippi area.

Paradise Dream Feeding Program

Kids from the community are welcome to eat a healthy/hot supper at our center Monday-Friday from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Volunteers assist with cooking/serving/washing dishes and clean up. As of Sept 2012 UPWARD has served over 20,000 meals to kids/youth of the community. The children were excited to have JD Lewis, of the sitcom ER, visit our center with his family. They spent an evening hanging out and helped prepare and serve dinner.
